Sea Legs (Early Access)

When they called the 1600s the golden age of piracy, they had no idea the sea level was going to rise like that. They had no idea how many of the rich were going to abscond to the stars, and they had no idea what those of you left behind would be willing to do to survive on your planet. 

Sea Legs is a GMless Powered by the Apocalypse game about creating a life and a community in a world wrecked by climate change. 

Most low lying cities have long sunk below the waves, and the land is claimed by corporations still wringing the earth for every drop of resources available. But the sea, in this nationless world, in this forgotten place, the sea is freedom. All across the world, unhoused people, people escaping their past, people escaping a lifetime of grueling work for little pay, and everyone in between, make their way to the ocean and start a new life. 

The oceans themselves are just as exploited as the people who call it home. The reefs are dead, the fish are dying, and oil rigs clog the surface. The great pacific garbage patch floats in the mid pacific, a city of pirates and rebels. 

You are the scouting and scavenging team for a community whose home floats across the oceans. You’re trying to keep your community safe and fed, and the easiest way to do that is to steal from those who put you in this position in the first place, and stay on the move so they can’t strike back. 

This game is in early access and is not complete, and will receive regular updates. 

First update! V0.2 and playbook completion! What's changed?

• The Deep Diver Playbook has been replaced by the Outsider, a mermaid/robot/alien playbook. 
• Because the robot has been added to the Outsider, it was replaced in the Unique Moves list for the Resentful
• all playbooks now have seven special moves to choose from! 
• Some rules clarifications have been added
